Bruno Mars is a 13-time Grammy Award nominee whose debut album Doo-Wops & Hooligans released in October 2010 has been certified 39x platinum worldwide, has sold over 45 million singles worldwide, and has over 1 billion views on YouTube.

Following his success with Doo-Wops & Hooligans, Mars created the ballad "It Will Rain" for the Twilight movie: Breaking Dawn Part 1. This song marked the 11th top 10 single for Mars, following the multi-platinum #1 hits "Just The Way You Are" and "Grenade" as well as songs written and co-produced by Mars in his role as one of The Smeezingtons, including CeeLo Green's history-making "Fuck You."

In October 2012, Mars premiered the first single, "Locked Out of Heaven" from his highly-anticipated sophomore album Unorthodox Jukebox. On October 20th, Mars made his comeback to national television when he joined the elite club of hosts and performers for Saturday Night Live.
